InkWon TAG Usage and Maintenance Instructions

Inkjet printers require regular maintenance. Please strictly follow the instructions below. Before performing any operation, watch the corresponding tutorial video first.

Initial Charging

The battery is not fully charged before shipment. Before using the printer for the first time, charge it with the supplied USB Type-C cable and a 5V⎓1A power adapter.

Do not use a high-power fast charger.

Installing the Ink Cartridge for the First Time

When installing the ink cartridge for the first time:

  1. Remove the protective film.
  2. Use the dedicated cleaning wipe to gently wipe the printhead several times in the same direction.
  3. Leave the cartridge to stand until the printhead is completely dry.
  4. Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the electrical contacts on the ink cartridge and the spring-loaded pin contacts inside the printer.
  5. Install the ink cartridge.

Ink Cartridge Maintenance

When the ink cartridge is not in use, remove it from the printer and place it back in the dedicated storage case. This helps prevent the ink from drying out and the nozzles from becoming clogged.

Reusing an Ink Cartridge

If the ink cartridge has not been used for an extended period:

  1. Gently wipe the printhead using the supplied cleaning wipe or a moistened lint-free cloth. The lint-free cloth may be reused.
  2. Allow the printhead to dry completely.
  3. Reinstall the ink cartridge.
  4. Run the [Clean] function in the InkWon App.

Severe Horizontal Lines or Vertical Streaks

If the printhead is severely clogged:

  1. Hold the ink cartridge with the printhead facing downward.
  2. Immerse only the printhead in clean water to a depth of approximately 3–5 mm.
  3. Leave it immersed for 10–30 minutes.
  4. Remove the cartridge and carefully wipe it dry.
  5. Leave it to stand until it is completely dry.
  6. Reinstall the cartridge and clean.

Ink Cartridge Recognition Failure

Before installing the ink cartridge, use a dry, soft cloth to clean the electrical contacts on the cartridge and the spring-loaded pin contacts inside the printer. Reinstall the cartridge after cleaning.
